The Xerox AltaLink C8130 Color MFP

The AltaLink C8130 is a Multifunction Printer (MFP) that can copy, print, scan, and email documents. This MFP is made for medium-sized to large businesses that need to handle more documents. The maximum print speed is 30 ppm for color and black print. It is ideal for smaller businesses. For faster-paced printing, you’ll need to look to the other MFPs in the series. 

The copying resolution on the AltaLink is 600 x 600 dpi, while the printing resolution is 1200 x 2400 dpi. In addition, the onboard memory of the printer is 8 GB max, ideal for faster-paced offices.  

And that’s not where the features end. As a scanner, the AltaLink C8130 can scan to various places. However, what’s interesting is that it can scan to cloud repositories such as Google Drive, Dropbox, and One Drive. This is an optional feature, but it’s great for businesses shifting to a digital storage solution.  

Of course, digital cloud storage comes with security concerns. But not with the AltaLink C8130. It has a multitude of security features, including an automated threat response and encrypted emailing. And that’s just the beginning. You also get imaging security and an internal firewall. All of these are there to ensure that your sensitive information doesn’t get leaked. 

But if you’re still skeptical, consider that this product has a Common Criteria certification. What this means is that it has passed specific requirements for computer network security. And it’s Energy Star certified, meaning you don’t end up spending more energy than you need to.  

To add to that, the AltaLink C8130 can hold a total of 4,280 sheets if you include the bypass and high-capacity trays. You can also opt for an envelope tray that can hold 60 envelopes. The maximum size of the paper is Tabloid.
